About the Role
In this role, you’ll design and deliver secure, scalable, and innovative integration solutions that connect diverse systems and emerging technologies to our strategic goals. You’ll lead automation initiatives, introduce modern integration patterns, and ensure compliance while driving efficiency and innovation. Working closely with cross-functional teams and governance forums, you’ll create solutions that are not only technically robust but widely adopted—building sustainable platforms that deliver long-term business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategy and technical delivery for integration and automation solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Act as a technical expert in DevOps, integration architecture, and cloud-based solutions.
- Design and deliver secure, scalable integrations including APIs and automation patterns.
- Drive end-to-end solution delivery—from architecture to deployment—meeting timelines and budgets.
- Enhance platforms and pipelines using best practices and emerging technologies.
- Own product roadmaps and governance, ensuring platform currency and compliance.
- Collaborate across teams and partners to maximise technology value and adoption
About you
- Tertiary degree qualifications in information technology, computer science or similar tertiary qualifications
- 10+ years in IT with strong expertise in enterprise and cloud integration, SOA/BPM, and API management.
- 7+ years in solution architecture and technical design leadership.
- Proven ability to design and deliver integration services/APIs in cloud-native, containerized environments.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps pipelines and tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Kubernetes, Rancher).
- Strong knowledge of cloud integration platforms (Azure API Management, AWS API Gateway).
- Expertise in solution design, API governance, and security protocols.
- Skilled in leading architecture discussions across enterprise and project forums.
- Experience working with vendors and contractors on complex integration solutions.
Familiarity with emerging technologies such as:
- TIBCO BW, EMS/Kafka, BPM Suite
- Axway MFT & API Gateway
- Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
- DevOps frameworks and toolsets
