About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable and strategic Procurement Manager (Digital) to lead a team of Procurement Specialists in delivering best-in-class procurement services. This role is critical in ensuring the organisation secures the goods, services, and facilities it needs—on time, at the right quality, and at the best total cost of ownership.
You will provide expert commercial advice, drive strategic procurement initiatives, and ensure the efficient delivery of procurement services aligned with business priorities.
- Lead, coach, and support a team of Procurement Specialists focused on digital, IT, and technology-related categories to deliver high-quality procurement outcomes.
- Partner with digital, IT, and transformation stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives and drive improved commercial and operational outcomes.
- Provide subject matter expertise in digital procurement, including sourcing of software, hardware, cloud services, SaaS, and IT professional services.
- Apply category management principles to digital spend areas to identify opportunities, manage risk, and deliver value across the technology portfolio.
- Oversee end-to-end sourcing activities for digital and technology categories—from strategy development to contract award—ensuring compliance, governance, and probity.
- Manage digital supplier panels, strategic vendor relationships, and contract performance to ensure service excellence, innovation, and value realisation.
- Track and report on procurement benefits, digital value creation, and key performance indicators aligned with enterprise technology goals.
About You
- Proven experience in leading digital procurement initiatives within complex or regulated environments, including sourcing of IT infrastructure, software, cloud services, and digital transformation projects.
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of partnering effectively with digital leaders to deliver strategic outcomes.
- Deep expertise in category management, strategic sourcing, and contract management across digital and technology categories.
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, particularly in fast-evolving digital landscapes.
- Relevant qualifications in procurement, supply chain, or IT procurement (e.g. CIPS, ITIL, or equivalent) are desirable.
- Experience in developing and executing digital procurement strategies, managing vendor ecosystems, and advising executive leadership on technology investments.
- 8+ years’ experience in digital procurement, category management, or technology business partnering in large, complex organisations or technology-driven sectors.
