Skill Hire, in partnership with our valued host employer, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Pipe Fitter Apprentice to join a major construction team working on one of the largest Industrial Construction projects in Australia.

These opportunities are offered under Section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 and are open to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.

Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation (MAC) members and their family members are strongly encouraged to apply.


With an anticipated commencement in early 2026, roles will be offered on a 20/8 FIFO roster, flying from Perth to Karratha or a potential alternative roster for locals. Accommodation will be provided at the newly constructed state of the art The Ranges Village camp.

This opportunity is ideally suited to 3rd or 4th Year Apprentices seeking to further develop and refine their skills in industrial construction. Participation in this project will provide a unique experience, including exposure to the large-scale construction of a latest-generation fertiliser plant and an understanding of how natural gas is transformed into ammonia and urea for fertiliser production.


Essential Criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in a Boilermaker / Welding apprenticeship
  • Must have demonstrated experience in pipe fabrication
  • A current driver’s licence
  • Construction White Card
  • Working Safely at Heights & Confined Spaces (Preferred)
  • Ability to meet all pre-employment medicals and assessments
  • A strong commitment to learning and being part of a supportive team
