Who we are?

Scape’s vision is to be the Earth’s best living company. We are a leading owner/operator of student accommodation in Australia, providing a home to 19,000 students. We are now heavily expanding into adjacent verticals like multi-family homes and retirement villages both in Australia and overseas. Our ambition is to 10x our size again over the next 5 years.

Responsibilities:

As our Marketing Operations Specialist you’ll be the person who makes sure everything flows. From campaign briefs that are clear, to workflows that just work, to tools that make things easier (not harder) - your role is all about making sure the team has what they need to do their best work. It’s fast-paced, collaborative, and no two days are exactly the same, but every day, you’re making it easier for great work to happen.

The key focus areas of the role will include (but not limited to):

  • Make workflows work for humans: Design clear, simple processes that help the team move from brief to delivery without the bottlenecks.
  • Bring people together: Work closely with internal teams and external partners, from sales and ops to community and sponsorship, to stay aligned and connected.
  • Get the most from our tools: Help us use platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Monday.com and Canva in ways that actually support the work, not slow it down.
  • Turn data into direction: Build dashboards that matter. Help the team understand what’s working (and what’s not) and where we can improve.

What makes you successful?

This role is perfect for someone who loves turning chaos into clarity, someone who’s curious, collaborative, and quietly confident, with just the right mix of people-sense and process-smarts. You’re the kind of person who spots a broken workflow and instinctively wants to fix it, not just for efficiency’s sake, but to make space for better work. You don’t need to have all the answers on day one. What matters most is that you care about helping good people do great work — and you’re passionate about building the systems, tools, and structures that make that possible every step of the way.

Here’s what you’ll bring:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in marketing operations, martech, or digital marketing
  • Experience developing clear, effective briefing processes and workflow systems
  • Hands-on with platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Monday.com, Google Analytics, and Canva
  • Ability to turn performance data into actionable insights and build dashboards that inform decisions
  • A knack for managing multiple moving parts — timelines, approvals, studio resourcing, and more
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • A natural curiosity and drive to improve how things work — always asking “how can we do this better?”
