We’re looking for a Merchandise Allocator with strong analytical capability, solid Excel skills and retail inventory experience to join our team on a 12-month parental leave cover. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time, delivering great commercial outcomes and an exceptional customer experience.

What you’ll be doing

  • Allocating and replenishing inventory across stores and distribution centres to maximise sales, GP and inventory targets
  • Analysing sales, stock and range performance to optimise profitability and manage aged or exiting inventory
  • Using allocation and replenishment tools (including JDA) to ensure accurate, timely and compliant inventory execution
  • Partnering closely with Category Managers, Planners, Replenishment and Store teams to deliver inventory within KPIs
  • Communicating clearly with stakeholders, providing insights, updates and weekly store communications

What we’re looking for

  • Strong analytical skills with confidence working in Excel (formulas, data analysis, reporting)
  • Experience in retail allocation, replenishment or inventory management
  • A detail-focused, organised approach with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams
  • A passion for retail and improving the customer purchasing experience
