We’re looking for a Merchandise Allocator with strong analytical capability, solid Excel skills and retail inventory experience to join our team on a 12-month parental leave cover.

You’ll be working in our exciting and fast-paced Licensed category, managing supporter wear across major sporting codes. From jerseys and shorts to caps and accessories, you’ll ensure fans can represent their team with pride.

What you’ll be doing

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time, delivering great commercial outcomes and an exceptional customer experience.

  • Allocating and replenishing inventory across stores and distribution centres to maximise sales, GP and inventory targets
  • Analysing sales, stock and range performance to optimise profitability and manage aged or exiting inventory
  • Using allocation and replenishment tools (including JDA) to ensure accurate, timely and compliant inventory execution
  • Partnering closely with Category Managers, Planners, Replenishment and Store teams to deliver inventory within KPIs
  • Communicating clearly with stakeholders, providing insights, updates and weekly store communications

What we’re looking for

  • Strong analytical skills with confidence working in Excel (formulas, data analysis, reporting)
  • Experience in retail allocation, replenishment or inventory management
  • A detail-focused, organised approach with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams
  • A passion for retail and improving the customer purchasing experience, is a must - personal passion for sport is a bonus!
