What to Expect

As a Merchandise Planner, you’ll be the commercial engine behind our product decisions — bringing together sales, stock, and financial insights to deliver plans that drive performance in the recreational sports and fitness tech category. You’ll:

  • Drive OTB, forecasting, markdown, and inventory management to ensure healthy stock turns and profitability.
  • Influence range and assortment planning decisions that deliver the right products, in the right stores, at the right time.
  • Track performance, identify opportunities, and create action plans that help rebel stay ahead of the competition.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone with a commercial mindset, analytical sharpness, and a collaborative approach. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven retail environment and be confident turning numbers into actionable insights.

You’ll also bring:

  • Proven experience in Merchandise Planning within a retail environment
  • Strong financial acumen across sales, GP, stock turn, GMROI and budgeting.
  • Experience in OTB management and assortment/range planning
  • Proficiency with merchandise planning systems and advanced Excel or analytics skills
  • Exceptional communication and influencing ability — you can translate data into compelling stories that drive decisions.

Why Join rebel?

You’ll have access to:

  • Generous team discounts across all Super Retail Group brands (rebel, BCF, Macpac & Supercheap Auto)
  • Flexible hybrid working options based out of our Rhodes office
  • Career development programs and leadership pathways within SRG
  • Inclusive and dynamic culture built around teamwork, energy and passion for sport
