About The Role
We are seeking a Junior ICT Systems and Support Engineer to join our Platform Operations team. In this role, you’ll support the availability, security, and performance of our ICT systems and infrastructure, while building your capability across a modern technology environment.
You’ll work closely with senior engineers to maintain reliable systems that underpin business operations and customer outcomes, gaining hands-on experience across cloud, endpoint management, and infrastructure support.
This role suits someone who is eager to learn, enjoys solving technical problems, and wants to develop a strong foundation in ICT systems and support.
As our newest Junior ICT Systems and Support Engineer, you’ll:
- Work within defined SLAs to triage and resolve incidents and service requests, escalating where required.
- Provide hands-on and remote support to users and the systems they rely on.
- Support administration of Microsoft 365 and assist with endpoint management using Microsoft Intune.
- Assist in troubleshooting infrastructure and system issues, contributing to root cause analysis.
- Participate in maintaining secure and reliable ICT environments, including cloud and hybrid systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and automation over time.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, curious, and keen to develop their technical skills. You’ll be a strong communicator who works well in a team and takes pride in delivering reliable support.
You’ll also bring:
- Foundational knowledge of Microsoft environments (Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure exposure desirable).
- Basic scripting or automation experience (e.g. PowerShell) or willingness to learn.
- Understanding of endpoint management concepts and ICT security fundamentals.
- A relevant qualification in Information Technology (or working towards one), or equivalent practical experience.
