About the role:
We have an opportunity for a Project Manager, with experience in the electrical distribution industry, to join the team at PowerNet based at our offices in Invercargill.
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for managing electrical distribution projects throughout the project lifecycle from initiation, contract inception, planning, design, estimation, work pack generation, commissioning and closure.
What you will need to be successful:
To be successful in this role you will need to be a highly motivated individual who possess a pragmatic, adaptable approach with the ability to manage conflicting demands while maintaining stakeholder relationships.
The key knowledge, experience and skills you will need to bring include:
- A qualification in Electricity Supply, Electrical engineering or project management
- At least three years’ experience in the electrical distribution sector
- Distribution network analysis and design experience
- Project and contract management experience
- Computer literate with proven ability to undertake data analysis and report writing
- Sound commercial and financial capability managing multiple projects
- A current full NZ drivers licence
