The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Workforce Manager to join our Plena team. This role will be responsible for ensuring that we deliver compliant and efficient rostering of the right clinical team members to the right place at the right time. This will be achieved by educating Rostering Coordinators and conducting frequent analytical assessments of the workforce in both the RAC and Community spaces.

You will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring of Workforce Management KPIs such as task turnaround times, not limited to; leave approvals, initial and subsequent appointments, and data integrity expectations
  • Prepare payroll files fortnightly and reconciliation of leave entries
  • Respond to payroll and invoicing queries as required
  • Develop, maintain and improve process maps and documentation
  • Complete monthly Workforce Planning Tool to analyze and assess workforce size and capability
  • Continually looking for process improvement opportunities
  • Ownership of complaints and escalations relating to Rostering team or processes
  • Recruitment and on-boarding of new Rostering team members
  • Performance Management and Feedback & Developments sessions, including 1:1s
  • Run education and team meetings
  • Provide leave cover for Rostering team members
  • Ensure all team tasks and responsibilities are being actioned in a timely manner and meeting business expectations

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Proven Rostering and or Scheduling experience
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail whilst maintaining a wider business context
  • Ability to lead a team to excel in their roles
  • Positive and collaborative attitude, focused on doing whatever is necessary to achieve the task
  • Demonstrated analytical skills in Excel
  • Ability to manage staff conflict and provide resolutions and coaching
  • Effective training and up-skilling of team members

Additionally, you will require

  • NDIS workers screening
  • National Police clearance
  • Right to work evidence
