About Us
Plena Healthcare, now proudly part of Australian Unity, is a national allied health provider delivering services across Residential and community aged care. With more than 20 years’ experience, we’re known for high-quality, person-centred allied health care that supports people to live well, safely and independently.
Being part of Australian Unity enables us to invest in our people, strengthen our clinical frameworks and lead innovation as the sector transitions to the new Support at Home program, while retaining the clinician-led, supportive culture Plena is known for.
The Opportunity
This role is suited to Physiotherapists at different stages of their careers.
If you’re early in your career, you’ll be supported to build confidence, develop strong clinical foundations and grow your independence within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
If you’re an experienced Physiotherapist, you’ll enjoy autonomy, variety and flexibility, with the opportunity to work within a well-established service model that values professional judgement and quality outcomes over volume.
You’ll work across Residential Aged Care and the Community, supporting clients through Support at Home, Short-Term Restorative Care, and private funding streams.
The Role
You will provide evidence-based physiotherapy services focused on maintaining and improving mobility, strength, balance and safety. This includes comprehensive assessments, functional and goal-based treatment planning, falls risk management, equipment prescription, chronic and arthritic condition management, pain management, and pressure injury prevention.
You’ll work closely with other allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, person-centred care and achieve meaningful client outcomes.
Why Join Plena Healthcare
We offer genuine flexibility, a competitive salary reviewed annually, and an environment where clinicians are trusted and supported to practise well.
Early-career physiotherapists benefit from structured support, approachable leadership and clear clinical frameworks. Experienced clinicians benefit from autonomy, professional respect and the stability of working within a national organisation backed by Australian Unity.
About You
You’ll be a qualified Physiotherapist with current AHPRA registration, Australian working rights, and a willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Check.
Whether you’re starting your career or looking to continue building on your experience, we’d love to hear from you.
