Marketing Technologist leverages technical expertise and a strategic mindset to be successful. Has differing percentages of work across analytics & insights, data strategy & activation, platform integration & activation, business & technology innovation, and leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering insights from data sets in digital/media/eCommerce, executing hands-on-keyboard for digital media, activating digital media brand building platforms to meet the needs of the business (digital presence, social, CRM, DTC, programmatic, etc.), leading and managing new innovation spaces in marketing technology to meet emerging needs in a business (IoT, new data sets, new platforms, etc.), and prioritizing & translating business requirements to systems requirements which also adhere to IT policies and security/privacy mandates.
  • Engages seamlessly across the marketing and media organizations typically at the brand manager and associate brand director level. Typically covers a regional business.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related marketing field to work as a marketing technologist.

Required Skills

  • Excellent technical skills, creativity, strong analytical abilities, and strong communication skills
  • Excellent marketing automation or CRM, Adobe Analytics, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and search engine optimization best practices.
  • A background in combining marketing technologies with enterprise applications will be helpful.

Creativity

  • Strong analytical abilities to analyze customer data and determine if strategies are effective in enhancing the customer experience. Strong communication skills are needed in order to collaborate with marketing personnel and interface with customers.
