About the role

We're seeking a highly-skilled Magento Developer with a deep understanding of PHP and the LAMP stack to join our dynamic team. Your primary focus will be developing scalable, efficient, and reliable e-commerce web applications that meet our client's unique needs. Core Responsibilities

  • Design, Develop & Deploy: Architect, build, and maintain e-commerce platforms utilizing PHP, MySQL, LAMP stack, and Magento.
  • Quality Code: Produce clean, well-documented, efficient code that adheres to best practices and is both maintainable and scalable.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams—including designers, project managers, and fellow developers—to deliver feature-rich e-commerce solutions.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues in e-commerce applications swiftly to maintain a smooth user experience.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test cases to ensure the robustness and reliability of our e-commerce solutions.
  • Technical Updates: Keep abreast of emerging web technologies and frameworks to adopt the latest best practices.
  • Code Review: Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance the quality of the codebase.
  • Transparent Communication: Update project managers and stakeholders on progress and challenges in a clear and timely manner.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in developing e-commerce web applications using PHP, MySQL, LAMP stack, and Magento.
  • In-depth understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Strong MySQL database design and development capabilities.
  • Proficiency in using version control systems like Git or Bitbucket.
  • Familiarity with Linux server administration and configurations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, coupled with an aptitude for debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
