Your opportunity…

As Country Manager, you will lead a cross-functional team to elevate our customer experience and partner with our Dealer network to grow our business. You will shape the strategic sales plans and inspire innovative solutions to deliver excellence.

Leadership and Collaboration:

This is a pivotal leadership role contributing to Nissan Oceania’s ongoing success and will lead to long-term career growth. You will combine your ability to build collaborative relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders to optimise results and drive positive change. 

You will work with cross-functional teams within New Zealand and Australia and be part of the larger region across the Middle East and Europe to ensure New Zealand has the support it needs to thrive.

Performance Excellence:

You directly own the sales plan ensuring both medium and long-term success. Your leadership will optimise efforts for maximum performance against set objectives and you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culture to enhance team capabilities and grow our talent.

Strategic Development and Budget Management:

You will be accountable for sales development, planning and analysis for New Zealand by identifying opportunities and addressing gaps; including dealer media strategies and managing budgets to drive efficiencies. You will ensure incentives align with approved programs while promoting new product and technical training initiatives throughout the dealer network. Finally, you will represent Nissan New Zealand business (supported by Australia) across all stakeholders bodies; government, industry and media/public relations.

You will bring to this role…

  • Senior management experience in multinational sales & marketing businesses, ideally automotive and/or franchise development. 
  • Ability to work with a diverse team and managing change to achieve outcomes.
  • Strong sales strategy, execution and problem-solving skills.
  • Manage through complex operational and strategic issues.
  • Passion and focus on customer service and adept at building positive relationships.
  • Degree in business, marketing or related field.
