Location: Beaverton, OR
Duration: 9 months contract

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Role will be focused on physical store assortments across NSO and NVS with supporting collaboration with the NDDC team
- NA Direct will be running IBAs starting in December bi-weekly to weekly closer to tournament time
- Current structure does not have sufficient GFB coverage to support the tournament
- NA ND Sport Merch Directors cover: GFB, Basketball, Team, Licensed, Golf, Tennis, and Field Sports
- No buyers in all of NA Direct are dedicated entirely to GFB
- Additional attention is needed to:
- Priority store assortments
- Win/lose scenarios
- Post-tournament transition to NVS
- Recommending beginning of January to end of August project (9 months)
Key Accountabilities:
Overall
- Partners to support franchise health across Nike Direct, through effective assort, buy, and trade decisions.
- Executes seasonal readiness.
- Delivers to CODE Calendar.
- Drives holistic business strategy and consumer insights into action influences opportunities with cross-functional teams to ensure right by depth and execution (future and in-season).
- Systems expert (ie DDS, AV, etc)
Assortment Curation
- Manages curation of seasonal, holistic, consumer- right assortment strategies for door clusters.
- Curates and adapts assortment against LPAA and MBL to serve NDDC consumer and business goals. Communicates and influences opportunities with Consumer Merchandising.
- Executes Assortment and TAT with precision, providing support to DSM throughout bottoms up planning.
- Surface gaps and opportunities with product priorities against targets, including marketing planner, reactivations, allocations).
- Collaborate with NDDC triad (Sport, DSM, Merch) to drive aligned Buy Plans.
- Provide support and coaching to Buyer II on business and assortment responsibilities.
Trading the Business
- Pulls Monday reports.
- Drive in-season business results to achieve KPI’s, plan and strategy; by sharing style performance and discuss which styles are driving beats & misses to forecast / plan and why, providing assortment context.
- Surfaces emerging consumer and product trends based on competitive landscape.
- Drives actions in weekly business reviews to optimize business and connect to stores assortment strategy
- Highly engaged in the OTB process and influences forecasting based on product opportunities and trends.
- Builds comprehensive insights to fuel hindsight, LPA and Pulse reports.
