WHAT YOU WILL DO

Join the Global Design Women's & Accessories team as a Bag Designer for an exciting special project. You'll work alongside our dedicated bag designer, providing essential support while contributing your own creative ideas and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the lead designer in developing innovative bag designs including backpacks, tote bags, and duffle bags
• Create and refine technical specifications and construction details
• Implement design concepts from initial ideas through production-ready specifications
• Develop comprehensive tech packs with detailed construction guidelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and quality standards
• Research current trends and materials in bag design and construction
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input on bag functionality

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Looking for a technically-minded designer who excels at bringing concepts to life. You must include a portfolio showcasing tech packs, technical design work, and bag creation experience.

Must Haves:

• 4+ years of experience in bag design with background in fashion or sports industry
• Strong technical knowledge of bag construction methods and materials
• Proven experience creating detailed tech packs and technical specifications
• Implementation-focused mindset with ability to translate design concepts into technical reality
• Portfolio demonstrating technical design skills and bag creation projects
• Proficiency in design software and technical drawing
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and production constraints

Nice to Haves:

• 3D modeling experience for product visualization
• AI tools experience for quick design representation and material visualization
• Previous Nike or similar athletic/lifestyle brand experience
• Knowledge of sustainable materials and eco-friendly construction methods
• Experience with prototype development and testing
• Understanding of women's accessories market and consumer preferences
