Title: Graphic Designer 2
Location: Beaverton, OR
Duration: 2-month contract

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Create original graphic designs that reflect Nike’s design ethos under the direction of Design management.
- Provide design support for higher-level designers as needed.
- Act as a liaison among Nike managers (Image Design, Marketing, Product Design, etc.) and outside agencies, communicating project details, design requirements, scheduling needs, and graphic materials.
- Arrange the purchasing of goods and services from domestic and international vendors, and evaluate vendor capabilities.
- Manage individual projects from initial concept development to final production and distribution.
- Attend internal briefings, manage timelines, schedule work-back schedules, and coordinate with suppliers.
- Review specifications, recommend production alternatives, and maintain quality production standards.
- Negotiate costs, review billing, and provide budget reconciliation.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Development of print, packaging, 3-D retail displays, event signage, logo systems, imagery, video, and collateral materials.
- Use computerized systems effectively throughout the design process.
- Manage both individual projects and groups of projects to stay within stated budgets.
- Estimate all aspects of project development and offer production alternatives to deliver the best product within defined budgets.
- Understand technical aspects, terminology, and equipment involved in film, print, and collateral production.
- Utilize Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop proficiently in daily design tasks.
- Apply strong typography illustration skills across various design formats.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in a graphic design role.
- A BFA in Graphic Design is helpful but not required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong skills in typography illustration.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the fashion industry is a plus.
