EFT/Hours:  0.5 EFT (40 Hours Per Fortnight)

Status:  Part Time Fixed Term until 30/06/2026

Salary/ Hourly rate: 

Grade 1 $34.3368 - $43.8684 plus 11% superannuation

Grade 2 $43.8921 - $50.4553 plus 11% superannuation

About the Role:

NCN Health have an exciting opportunity for an Exercise Physiologist to join our team at NCN Health.

The Exercise Physiologist works as part of the multidisciplinary Allied Health and Chronic Disease team at NCN Health, providing quality, client focused exercise physiology services and programs for individuals and groups across the organisation including our Integrated Community Health unit, Residential Aged Care facilities and the Moira Community Rehabilitation Centre.

The role will promote health and wellbeing through the delivery, monitoring and coordination of exercise physiology services and lifestyle enhancement programs for the prevention and management of chronic disease, other complex conditions and injuries for both individuals and in group based settings.

As an integral part of the multidisciplinary team at NCN Health, the Exercise Physiologist will receive support and supervision from senior clinical staff, working closely with our Allied Health team, both in clinic and via outreach home based services. 

 

What we are looking for:

  • Vaccination against Covid-19 is a mandatory requirement
  • Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science or equivalent, and current registration as an Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
  • Knowledge of the design, delivery and evaluation of exercise, lifestyle and behaviour modification programs for the prevention and management of chronic disease, conditions and injuries in both individual and group settings.
  • Knowledge or experience in providing Exercise Physiology services within a client focused approach to care delivery that promotes client independence and self-management.
