Electrotechnology and communication apprentice Service and Technical support within the Marine industry

Are you passionate about technology and eager to kickstart your career in a fast-paced, innovative industry? We're looking for a motivated Electronics and Communications Apprentice to join the team at Electrotech Australia.

Our client, Electrotech Australia' core business is the servicing and sale of high-quality communications and navigation equipment for the commercial and defence maritime sectors. They supply and support land mobile satellite communication systems to a wide range of customers. Their engineers and technicians are specialist trained, with extensive knowledge and experience in their fields, and their skills are continually updated to keep pace with new technologies.

This is a great opportunity to gain quality hands-on industry training within a workshop/vessel in port environment.

About the position:

As an Apprentice, you will work alongside qualified technicians to support the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic and communication systems for the marine industry.

What we are looking for:

  • A keen interest in Electronics and communications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Pass in Maths, English and science subjects through school
  • Previous work experience or a pre-vocational Certificate II in Electrotechnology is highly regarded
  • A positive attitude, punctuality, and a commitment to safety.

Location:

Brookvale, NSW

Work Type:

Full Time Apprenticeship (Monday - Friday, 38 hours per week)

Requirements:

  • Must be an Australian citizen / resident
  • Drivers licence and reliable transport
  • Genuine interest in this career pathway
