About the role

We are seeking a dedicated House Supervisor to lead one of our youth residential care homes, supporting children and young people with complex needs. In this vital role, you’ll oversee daily care, guide a team of residential care workers, and help create a safe, therapeutic environment where young people can feel supported.

This is a Full-time opportunity based in Hamilton within our Out of Home Care Program. The position reports to the Regional Coordinator

Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and out of home care), or other similar or relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the residential care field, particularly within a therapeutic environment.
  • Proven skills and experience in development of behavioural management programs for children and adolescents with challenging behaviours.
  • Ability to participate collaboratively and constructively within teams of peers, staff and other stakeholders, as well as initiative and effective personal judgement when working alone.

You must have a:

  • Valid and current Driver’s Licence;
  • Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);
  • Valid Employee Working with Children Check;
