Due to the Company’s involvement in a number of new projects and studies, Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Payroll Officer to join our Perth based team on an initial 12 month contract.

Reporting to the Payroll Team leader, and working with a small team, this position will ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll operations, while supporting the team as needed.

The tasks you'll perform         

  • Process end to end monthly payrolls
  • Utilise SAP and SuccessFactors to support payroll and admin
  • Manage payroll tax and super obligations and portals
  • Run reports on timesheets and follow up on anything missing
  • Provide support and assistance for payroll related enquiries to staff
  • Reconciliations as required
  • Maintain strong understanding of compliance with Australian payroll legislation

The expertise you'll bring

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Assist with Global payroll when required
  • The ability to work in a small team, be driven and happy to work autonomously
  • A good communicator, team player and someone who shows initiative to jump in when and where needed
  • Experience in a similar sector eg; Mining, Construction, EPCM, is desirable but not essential.
