Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Global Remuneration & Benefits Lead to join our growing People & Culture team in our Perth head office.

Reporting to the General Manager People & Culture this newly created position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate employees across our global organisation. You will ensure that our compensation and benefits packages are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our business objectives, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

The tasks you'll perform

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global remuneration and benefits strategy aligned with the organisation's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of global compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, and recognition programs, in consultation with local People & Culture Leads and Managing Directors.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking and market analysis to ensure our compensation bandings remain competitive and aligned with industry trends.
  • Ensure the HRIS system is regularly updated with new compensation bandings accurately placed across all global positions. 
  • Develop and implement governance frameworks to ensure consistent application of compensation and benefits policies and procedures across all regions.
  • Utilise data analytics to track and analyse key metrics related to compensation and benefits, providing insights to inform decision-making and program enhancements.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership on the performance and effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs.

The expertise you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5-8 years) in global compensation and benefits management, preferably in a multinational organisation.
  • Strong understanding of global compensation practices, including incentive design, salary benchmarking, and pay equity principles.
  • Familiarity with global benefits administration, including healthcare, retirement, and other employee welfare programs.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors HRIS would be an advantage.
