Lycopodium is currently recruiting for HSE Officers to join our growing team in Pakistan. 

Reporting to the Lead HSE Advisor, HSE Officers will provide specialist advice to ensure the project is delivered professionally and safely in line with Company, Client and industry requirements.

The tasks you'll perform

  • Supporting and guiding day-to-day construction site operational objectives and ensuring policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by employees, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Confirm all HSE initiatives of the Project team are aligned with Company, Client, regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Ensure all dealings with Client, Vendors and other external stakeholders are professional and in line with ethos of the business. 
  • Work with all members of the HSE team in compliance with applicable legal and project specific requirements in addition to current industry work codes and standards.

The expertise you'll bring

  • Certifications or qualifications within the HSE / OHS space
  • Min 5 years' experience in construction (preferably in the mining/mineral processing industry)
  • Considerable HSE experience in a previous engineering / resources related environment
  • Thorough understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Well-developed technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • A desire to build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, project and office personnel.
