Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Process Engineer to join our growing Process team in Mississauga, ON. 

Reporting to the Manager of Process the Process Engineer will conduct process engineering work to a high professional and ethical standard while growing his/her value to the Process Group and the reputation of Lycopodium.

The tasks you'll perform

  • Develop draft process design criteria
  • Carry out mass and energy balances
  • Prepare draft flow diagrams
  • Prepare draft of technical documents
  • Interpret metallurgical test work.
  • Carry out mathematical and statistical calculations
  • Commissioning assistance

The expertise you'll bring

  • University Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or equal.
  • More than 1-3 years post graduating.
  • Demonstrate a high standard of verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to achieve high standards within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Ability to perform without direct supervision
  • Use of modelling software: LIMN, METSIM, SysCAD
