Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Process Engineer to join our growing Process team in Mississauga, ON.
Reporting to the Manager of Process the Process Engineer will conduct process engineering work to a high professional and ethical standard while growing his/her value to the Process Group and the reputation of Lycopodium.
The tasks you'll perform
- Develop draft process design criteria
- Carry out mass and energy balances
- Prepare draft flow diagrams
- Prepare draft of technical documents
- Interpret metallurgical test work.
- Carry out mathematical and statistical calculations
- Commissioning assistance
The expertise you'll bring
- University Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or equal.
- More than 1-3 years post graduating.
- Demonstrate a high standard of verbal and written communication.
- Ability to achieve high standards within budget and schedule constraints.
- Ability to perform without direct supervision
- Use of modelling software: LIMN, METSIM, SysCAD
