Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Proposal Assistant to join our growing team in Perth

Reporting to the Lead Proposal Engineer, the Proposals Assistant provides critical support to the tender coordination process as directed by the Group Manager – Commercial and New Business. Consistently working towards producing quality deliverables, this role will suit a self-motivated administrator seeking to build their skills in a supportive, energetic team of New Business professionals.

The tasks you'll perform:

  • Assist the Proposal Lead and the Group Manager – Commercial and New Business to ensure the quality of deliverables is aligned with the needs of each business opportunity, the Company’s objectives and the requirements of the Client.
  • Support all activities related to the successful delivery of the tendering process
  • Coordinate with all Lycopodium subsidiaries in relation to proposals.
  • Ensure the quality of all company materials, with particular focus on tender and proposal inputs.
  • Involvement in all proposal generation activities related to identification, development and maintenance of quality business opportunities.
  • Proposal kick-off and ongoing coordination to ensure alignment of all contributions with minimal re-work.
  • Coordinating the end to end bid and tender submission process including all administrative aspects of proposal development.
  • Liaising with key internal stakeholders to manage completion and delivery to deadlines.
  • Maintain client database and target new opportunities.
  • Developing marketing collateral and updating capability statements as required.
  • General administration, record keeping, filling etc.

What you will bring:

  • Ideally 1-2 years' experience contributing to a proposals and tendering processes or a strong ability to create quality business sales related documentation
  • A 'can do' attitude to embracing business challenges
  • Demonstrated success influencing diverse stakeholders both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues across all business units. 
  • Experience in building and sustaining positive relationships with business stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.
  • Proactively seek and accept guidance and feedback provided by subject matter experts.
  • Driven and determined to achieve objectives through continued professional development.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment.
