Lycopodium Philippines is currently recruiting for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing Engineering team in Manila. 

The Senior Civil Engineer is responsible for the delivery of accurate, professional and compliant design deliverables using Company approved systems and procedures whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with all colleagues and clients.

• Provide proficient and accurate design input for the production of civil drawings.
• Ensure correctly specified equipment is sourced to meet project deliverables.
• Develop designs in accordance with Project, Client and regulatory standards.
• Work collaboratively with personnel across all business units.
• Coordinate/Control Civil Design team to meet required outputs for Project deliverables.

The tasks you'll perform

• Preparing accurate and timely 12D Model design and drafting of Civil works including Mining Earthworks, Roads, Rail Earthworks, Drainage, Water and Sewerage.
• Interpret engineering drawings, documents, specifications and scopes.
• Identify scope variations and prepare relevant documentation accordingly.
• Conduct timely reviews of Project civil drawings to achieve full compliance with design intent.
• Produce and maintain technical and engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Produce and maintain technical and engineering calculations for drainage and sewer design.
• Liaise with and provide professional support to drafting team in the preparation of drawing deliverables.
• Develop technical documentation including scopes of work and specifications using relevant Australian and industry standards and guidelines.

The expertise you'll bring

• University Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 7+ years of experience in a similar capacity
• In-depth experience in 12D/3D Model Design
• Extremely well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.
• Display the core values and ethos of the business.
• Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Provide mentoring and identify avenues of professional development and succession planning for personnel within your business unit.
