Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Senior Planner to join our growing Project Services Group in Mississauga, ON. 

Reporting to the Project Controls Manager/Planning Manager the Senior Planner will be responsible for executing and monitoring Project schedules to ensure Projects are professionally delivered in line with Project, Client and Company requirements.

The tasks you'll perform

  • Prepare Project schedules to a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Monitor designated project schedules and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders to ensure Project deliverables meet Company, Client and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide specialist advice in designated areas of expertise.
  • Work collaboratively with personnel across all business units.

The expertise you'll bring

  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent qualification is desired.
  • 8 years’ postgraduate experience in a similar position
  • Primavera P6 expertise — proven experience developing, maintaining, and baselining complex project schedules, including progress tracking and analysis.
  • Industry experience in mining, oil & gas, or nuclear — background in large, capital-intensive, multi-phase projects with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning exposure.
  • Baseline schedule preparation and advanced schedule analysis — ability to independently build master schedules, analyze critical path and risks, produce S-curves/forecasts, and report progress to project leadership and clients.
