Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Corporate Travel Advisor to join our team in Mississauga to support our fast-growing organisation mobilising personnel to all parts of the world.
Reporting to the Global Mobility Lead (based in our Australian head office) and working closely with the People & Culture Lead - Americas (based in our Mississauga office) you will be busy helping to coordinate the mobilisation of project personnel, as well as managing corporate travel arrangements of white-collar engineering teams domestically (Canada, Peru and Australia) and internationally (predominantly Africa, Asia and the Americas).
This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing global travel team in a rapidly expanding business, with potential for growth aligned with the company’s trajectory. Additionally, with all mobility handled internally, not via an external corporate travel provider, this role provides broad scope to make impactful contributions.
The tasks you'll perform
- Proactively engage in group wide travel, immigration and medical activities for incoming or outgoing personnel to office or international project locations.
- Utilise GDS travel booking system to safely and efficiently book flights. Engaging vendors and ensuring service level agreements and relationships are maintained.
- Partner with business leaders to ascertain projects needs, and work collaboratively to implement best-fit solutions.
- Respond to travel queries and investigate any new travel destinations, immigration and medical requirements.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safe and effective mobilisation of personnel.
- Work collaboratively within the global People function, supporting our people needs and providing an exceptional employee experience.
The expertise you'll bring
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience within the travel industry. Previous experience within the corporate travel sector or a global mobility role in a similar industry is preferred, but not essential.
- Working experience using a GDS travel system, preferably Amadeus. Sabre or Galileo acceptable
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong work ethic – driven and determined to achieve results for the betterment of the business.
- Understanding of the current travel climate and managing international and domestic travel accordingly.
- An ability to work to strict deadlines, communicating with multiple stakeholders and often managing competing priorities.
- A genuine enthusiasm for providing exceptional levels of service and being a positive, problem solving and autonomous member of a team.
- A flexible approach to work, understanding that travel queries can arrive at any time of the day/week.
- Ability to manage and seek information from key stakeholders when required.

The expected salary range for this role is $60,000 to $90,000. This range is based on the role’s job family and level and reflects a good faith estimate for the role at the time of posting. Your final offer will depend on factors such as market conditions, internal equity and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
