Lycopodium is currently recruiting for QC Inspectors to join our growing team in Pakistan. 

Reporting to the Quality Lead, the the QC Inspectors will maintain and improve the Project systems and processes to ensure the that the work undertaken will be in accordance with the relevant quality obligations and are implemented for the duration of the Project.  .

The tasks you'll perform

  • Ensure effective planning and implementation of design control, verification, validation and review activities.
  • Liaise with the relevant Manager to establish the suitability of proposed Quality Management Systems for the products or services to be supplied.
  • Ensure implementation and verification of construction inspection and testing activities.
  • Manage non-conformance corrective action and preventive actions and ensure investigation, follow-up actions are effectively implemented.
  • Conduct ongoing audits and surveillance visits to ensure conformance with agreed practices and the maintenance of project records at project offices and subcontractor or supplier locations as determined by auditing plans
  • Assist the relevant Manager with providing input quality progress data required for the compilation and submission of the project progress report monthly or as required by the contract.
  • Encourage and build a positive workplace culture and team environment.
  • Ensure the proper utilization of people, material, machinery and process to meet the client requirements within the timelines and budget. 
  • Advise the relevant Manager immediately of any safety or environmental, community or industrial relations incidents as per approved Company policy and procedures.
  • Adhere to Company’s Policy’s and obtain the appropriate internal approvals prior to making any contractual commitments.
  • Develop and contribute to the delivery of improvement initiatives within construction team which support business’ continuous improvement.
  • Manage multiple tasks and prioritise where necessary to achieve agreed deliverables to a high level of accuracy and professionalism. 
  • Register and file all relevant documentation in accordance to the Company approved procedures. 

The expertise you'll bring

  • Technical Certificate/Tertiary Education Qualification, Degree or Diploma in Quality Assurance is desirable or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in quality assurance roles within mineral processing and or related industries.
  • Qualifications relating to implementation and management of an ISO 9001 QMS (preferable)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
