Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Payroll and Accounting Officer to join our growing Corporate Shared Services team in San Isidro.
Reporting to the Finance Lead - Americas the Payroll and Accounting Officer will primarily be responsible for end-to-end payroll process for our Peru office and associated tasks in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, the successful incumbent will assist with day-to-day general accounting functions.
The tasks you'll perform
- Timely and accurate preparation and processing of monthly payroll.
- Timely and accurate payment of payroll related statutory and federal taxes and deductions.
- Prepare and submit all year end payroll related reconciliations including but not limited to Payment summaries and payroll tax.
The expertise you'll bring
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (Contabilidad).
- 3–5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll in Peru.
- Strong knowledge of Peruvian tax and labor legislation.
- Experience with SAP 4HANA ERP system.
- Intermediate MS Word and Excel, Microsoft office 365 / Windows, Adobe XI Pro / Acrobat.
