Lycopodium is currently recruiting for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be assisting on all HR related matters and working closely with our HR team based Perth, Western Australia.
The tasks you'll perform
- Generalist HR administration
- All aspects of employment contracts, compliance, internal changes, terminations and scenarios involving People moves
- Coordinate the onboarding and immigration process to ensure compliance within the local jurisdiction
- Maintain appropriate personnel documentation and statutory records for employment purposes
- Build effective relationships with numerous stakeholders
- Work closely with the client to meet their requirements within the scope of work
- Other related duties regarding the administration, onboarding and movement of people in Tanzania
The expertise you'll bring
- A degree qualification in HR is ideal
- Min 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the resources industry
- Knowledge of and hands-on practice in Tanzanian Labour Law
- A high level of administrative ability and attention to detail
- A willingness to go above and beyond, and a passion for providing high levels of service to facilitate exceptional employee experiences
- An interest in international people practices, including employment principles, contract formation, site conditions and permit applications
- Proactive problem solver who can think laterally and find the answers if they're not already known.
