Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Study Manager to join our growing team in Lima, Peru. 

Reporting to the General Manager Studies - Americas, the Study Manager will be responsible for To manage studies to ensure compliance with Client requirements, budget control, scope of works, and Lycopodium quality objectives.

The tasks you'll perform

• Managing all aspects of scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies with particular responsibility for scope, schedule and quality of deliverables.
• Coordinate with Planners and Estimators to prepare next-phase schedules and estimates
• Engaging and/or managing specialist consultants, e.g. geology, mining, tailings management, geotechnical, environmental.
• Ensure all engineering deliverables are achieved to a consistently high standard. Respond immediately to change to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget in accordance with the contractual scope of work and services, covering all disciplines.
• Writing and Preparing technical reports chapters, including coordinating with others within the company for their sections.
• Coordinating the compilation of study reports including NI43-101 compliant reports.
• Collate and compile project reporting requirements in accordance with company and Client standards to a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
• Register and file all relevant project documentation in accordance to the Company approved procedures.
•  Review the quality of output of the allocated Study team, and that it is aligned with the needs of the study, the company’s objectives and meets the requirements of the client.          
• Preparing and providing timely weekly and monthly Study progress updates to the Company’s and Client’s management. Participate and present the progress in weekly and/monthly meetings
• Provide project support and input to proposals, customer presentations, and other marketing / business development activities as required. Prepare schedules for written proposals as requested.
• Proactively support other team members as required to ensure Project deliverables are met.
• Contribute to team members in trainings professional development by providing consistent mentoring and identify avenues of development.
• Ensure a high level of communication is attained with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and contribute to the delivery of improvement initiatives which support business priorities for continuous improvement.
• Provide leadership, guidance and direction to the Planning team as required.
• Other related duties as assigned.
