Project Manager - Rail

Reporting to the Rail Delivery Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager - Rail to play a key role in the successful delivery of rail infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for leading project development, managing client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The tasks you'll perform

• Lead the successful delivery of rail infrastructure projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, on time and within budget.
• Manage project schedules, resources, forecasting, reporting and project controls throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project performance, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, issues and delivery challenges.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental and contractual requirements.
• Support business development activities including proposals, client presentations and capability promotion.

The expertise you'll bring

• 5 years' rail industry experience including exposure to site based work as well as planning. Scoping and contract management.
• Qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline such as rail maintenance.
• Strong understanding of rail infrastructure delivery, contract administration and construction methodologies.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
