Lycopodium Philippines is currently recruiting for a Safety & Quality Officer to join our growing LIPL team in Manila.
The tasks you'll perform
- Monitor projects and worksites for compliance with Company, Client, regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Maintain the S&C Management Systems and Parent Company (Lycopodium Limited) requirements in alignment with relevant ISO and AS certification, legislation and Client requirements.
- Support the Managing Director to undertake relevant audits and inspections of systems and processes to maintain relevant certification and authorisation. Specifically this includes managing the Master Audit Plan and providing support to lead and support Audits as mutually agreed with the Managing Director.
- Distribute information regarding S&C issues and initiatives to relevant parties associated with Lycopodium.
- Assist in the preparation of S&C related components of tenders and proposals, including the assessment of Contractor Management Systems and performance.
- Provide support to Lycopodium staff in the preparation of Project S&C Plans incorporating Client requirements, statutory requirements and ongoing corporate learnings and improvements.
- Prepare reports and statistics as required by Senior Management related to Lycopodium S&C.
- Monitor and communicate security issues in areas of operation and communicate findings to Senior Management.
- Notify Senior Management of material incidents and assist the Managing Director in ensuring all incidents are properly reviewed and closed out across Lycopodium.
- Notify the Managing Director of any corrective actions required where appropriate to rectify deficiencies in S&C plans and procedures being used.
- Develop and maintain S&C training resources in support of Lycopodium to meet relevant requirements.
- Assist the Managing Director to maintain a robust incident reporting culture and review incident reports for quality and completeness.
- Assist in maintaining competent personnel.
- Assist in maintaining competency management systems for clients.
- Assist in maintaining compliance to client administration portals
- Represent Lycopodium at S&C related meetings when required.
- Coordination of Quality Accreditation Audits. Coordination of response to Audit findings. Support Senior Management to prioritise and complete tasks allocated through Quality Audits. Organise internal and external Quality Audits and schedule Quality meetings.
The expertise you'll bring
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in various aspects of Safety and Compliance in related industries.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.
- Capacity to evaluate work practices, implement systems and suggest alternatives and refinements where necessary.
- High attention to detail and sound knowledge of Safety & Compliance systems and management.
