Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Senior Vendor Management Analyst to join our growing team in Mississauga, Ontario. 

Reporting to the Procurement and Contracts Manager the Senior Procurement Officer's goal is to provide support to the Project Services Group (PSG) or a specific project. This role will take ownership of vendor qualification, performance oversight, and supplier risk management across construction and equipment packages, while also supporting the day-to-day administration of vendor management activities.

The tasks you'll perform

• Lead vendor prequalification and due diligence across commercial, technical, HSE, and compliance areas - Maintain and govern approved vendor lists (AVL) 
• Support procurement teams in identifying and onboarding qualified contractors and vendors  
• Monitor vendor performance and flag delivery, quality, and commercial risks 
• Execute transactional vendor management activities (onboarding, data management, documentation tracking) 
• Coordinate with Engineering, HSE, Quality, and Commercial teams 
• Contribute to vendor management processes, tools, and reporting  

The expertise you'll bring

• 5–10 years’ experience in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain 
• Experience within EPCM, mining, minerals, or heavy industrial projects
• Strong experience with contractor and supplier prequalification 
• Ability to operate in both strategic and hands-on administrative tasks 
• Experience with international supply chains 
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail 
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.  
• Demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues across all business units.

The expected salary range for this role is $75,000 to $110,000.  This range is based on the role’s job family and level and reflects a good faith estimate for the role at the time of posting.  Your final offer will depend on factors such as market conditions, internal equity and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.  We believe in fair, competitive pay that reflects the value you bring to the team.
