Due to the Company’s involvement in a number of new projects and studies, we are currently recruiting for a Structural Engineer in Training to join our dynamic resources and mineral processing engineering team in Toronto.

Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, the Structural Engineer in Training will work with the team to ensure the quality of deliverables is aligned with the needs of the project, the company objectives, and the requirements of the client.

The tasks you'll perform:

  • Assist with engineering design and calculation generation.
  • Compliance with applicable Study / Project specific Codes and Standards.
  • Assist with the generation and compilation of engineering specifications as applicable.
  • Assist with the generation and compilation of engineering basis of design.
  • Assist with material take-offs
  • Assist with the preparation of Study and EPCM documentation.
  • Assist with on-site engineering, construction, commissioning and administration activities.
  • Assist with database management.
  • Conduct literature surveys.

The expertise you'll bring:

  • Engineering Degree from an accredited university in Civil / Structural Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience applying an engineering approach to problem solving
  • Advanced literacy and numeracy skills along with high-level attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
