Reporting to the Construction Manager the Concrete Supervisor will be responsible for providing Concrete Supervisor services to the project, as part of the construction team. The Concrete Supervisor shall provide sound technical advice in the resolutions of problems associated with constructability or design issues. This is a key leadership role for someone with a proven record managing complex site-based projects. 

The tasks you'll perform 

  • Oversee concrete works including structural pours, formwork precision, bolt alignment, and precast installations. 
  • Supervise bulk earthworks, stormwater drainage, plant access roads, and civil infrastructure. 
  • Coordinate installation of underground services such as fire water, raw water, potable water, and sewage reticulation. 
  • Manage and monitor survey activities, verifying quantities, reviewing contractor claims, and supporting accurate reporting. 
  • Support the construction of Tailings Storage Facilities, stormwater management systems, and raw water ponds. 
  • Conduct quality inspections and resolve on-site issues to maintain compliance with design and 
  • contractual requirements. 
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for daily site progress, quality control, and monthly reporting. 
  • Collaborate with design engineers on updating and adjusting drawings for roads, earthworks, and concrete structures. 

Qualification and Experience and Skills: 

  •  Be a Namibian Citizen. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline or professional development experience advantageous  
  • 15+ years’ experience in civil construction, concrete works, and site supervision within mining and infrastructure environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in EPCM and NEC contract delivery across mining process plants, TSFs, and structural concrete projects. 
  • Strong technical expertise in supervising concrete batching plants, managing structural and mechanical construction, and ensuring QA/QC compliance.  
  • Proven ability to interpret and verify complex construction, concrete, and mechanical drawings. 
  • Skilled in quantity surveying, claims management, contractor performance reviews, and progress reporting.  
  • Proficient in MS Excel and experienced in project documentation and reporting tools. 
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic site conditions.  
  • Knowledge of construction safety regulations and HSE compliance, including root cause analysis and incident management  
  • Experience across various commodities
