Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a HSE Advisor to join our growing team in Perth. 

Reporting to the HSE Manager - HSE Group, the HSE Advisor will assist in maintaining HSE systems, schedules and data to support the delivery of safe projects, along with proactively encouraging a positive HSE culture across the company.

The tasks you'll perform

  • Coordinate and report on HSE performance across all Projects and offices
  • Participate in the creation and review of workplace procedures.
  • Provide occasional HSE support to local sites as and when needed
  • Conduct HSE systems audits on site and report with recommendations
  • Monitor audit schedules and corrective action items for closure
  • Oversee incident reporting protocols and data management within digital management system
  • Contribute to project risk assessments
  • Review HSE Management Plans and training packages, align to project requirements
  • Administer the Learning Management System (LMS)

The expertise you'll bring

  • Up to 5 years of HSE experience in a previous engineering / resources related environment
  • Certifications or qualifications (Cert IV and/or Diploma) within the HSE / OHS space, in addition to working with HSE systems such as INX etc (preferable)
  • Lead auditor, ICAM, Taproot (not essential)
  • Computer literate, experience in MS Word, Excel, Database Management
  • Thorough understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Well-developed technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • A desire to build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, project and office personnel.
