Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Materials and Logistics Coordinator for the processes around procured materials from purchase to handover on site.
The tasks you’ll perform:
Ensure the quality of output of the vendor or contractor is managed in accordance with the Project Quality Plan and Company, Client, regulatory and contractual requirements
Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the delivery of materials procured (reporting, costs, and schedule) in accordance with the project plans and schedule
Foster and Maintain strong working relationships with Clients, Colleagues and Contractors
The expertise you’ll bring:
Recognised Tertiary Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration
5+ years’ experience in Engineering in Materials Handling and Management within the minerals processing and/or related industries
South African Citizen or Permanent Resident
Broad multidisciplinary knowledge in mineral processing plant / infrastructure construction
Proven knowledge of international and local law, regulation and practices around material handling
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.
Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision whilst consistently producing a high quality of deliverables.
Demonstrated ability to achieve consistently high standards within both budgetary and schedule constraints.
