The Opportunity: 

Based in Sydney NSW, the Regional Key Account Manager fosters pivotal relationships with Komatsu's key account customers within the quarry industry. In this role you will play a crucial part in leveraging our parts and service business to provide best outcomes for our customers success, while also championing Komatsu's products and services thereby ensuring sustained sales growth.

This role is offered Full-Time Monday - Friday and requires frequent travel sites within the NSW region.

Location: Located at our Komatsu Branch in Fairfield, NSW

Renumeration: Competitive salary + Super + Bonus + Car + Phone and Laptop

Key Accountabilities include:

Ensuring Key Clients’ needs and requests are met through:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships and communication channels with key customer stakeholders
  • Maintaining and converting opportunities through the CRM platform
  • Promoting strategies to onboard customers to ecommerce business
  • Supporting, developing and implementing continuous improvement customer activities
  • Assisting in developing and implementing sales strategies to maintain sales targets and growth
  • Assisting the customer to maintain Komatsu assets.
  • Supporting the implementation of technologies to assist customer achieving targets
  • Leading internal and external meetings, ensure allocations of responsibility and deadlines are clearly stated and agreed upon.
  • Managing issue escalations and customer concerns utilising a same day approach with urgent matters.

What we are looking for:

  • Ability to liaise with senior leadership with key clients organisations in a professional manner in all circumstances.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate current key client relationship and propose strategic movements to ensure growth of business profitability, alliances, and relationships through utilisation of aftermarket offerings.
  • Recommended proposals within Komatsu, review results and implement corrective action and systems modification as required. Continuous improvement processes will be required in this role to properly and professionally communicate the needs.
  • Ability to review existing systems, procedures, work practices, job roles and responsibilities, develop and implement initiatives that improve service operations, efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Ability to understand systems, processes and financial statements that measure sales, profits, expenses, labour, asset utilisation, customer and employee satisfactions.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities, develop and implement actions that capture this opportunity.
