Reporting to the CFO and leading a small team, this role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy, strong controls and insightful reporting that supports strategic decision-making.

👑 Your Key Responsibilities

As Financial Controller, you’ll lead financial control, reporting and governance across the Koko Black Group. You will:

• Own financial reporting and period-end close, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery
• Lead tax, audit and statutory compliance, managing external relationships and obligations
• Drive balance sheet integrity and internal controls, embedding strong governance frameworks
• Oversee cashflow, treasury and working capital, supporting liquidity and funding decisions
• Partner with business leaders to drive cost discipline, performance and financial accountability
• Lead systems, data and process improvements, strengthening reporting, automation and governance
• Leading and developing our AP and AR functions

💼 About You

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager
• CA / CPA qualification
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS/AASB) and reporting expertise
• Commercially astute with the ability to influence and partner across the business
• Experience managing audits, tax compliance and internal control environments
• A hands-on leader who develops teams and drives continuous improvement
• Systems-savvy with a focus on data integrity and process optimisation
