Site Leadership (Dog Daycare)

Kip Happy Stays is inviting expressions of interest from experienced and passionate leaders eager to join our talent pool for Site Leadership roles (encompassing both Assistant Manager and Site Manager positions) across our Melbourne daycare sites.

We’ll review EOIs on an ongoing basis; shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a video interview. From there, we'll be in touch as vacancies arise at our Melbourne locations to discuss next steps.

About the role

As a leader in one of our daycare sites, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing operations, coaching your team, and delivering exceptional care to our guests. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, motivating, coaching and training a high-performing team
  • Managing daily operations, including customer service, bookings, and facility maintenance
  • Ensuring the wellbeing, safety, and enrichment of dogs in our care - our Site Leadership positions are very hands on roles
  • Maintaining and enhancing our social media presence
  • Addressing animal health concerns and maintaining high hygiene standards
  • Handling administrative tasks such as inventory management and staff training

About you

  • Proven leadership experience, preferably in managing site-based operations
  • Previous paid animal care experience is highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Experience in staff management, training, and mentoring
  • Confidence in problem-solving and managing day-to-day challenges
  • A passion for working with animals and ensuring their safety and wellbeing
  • Willingness to get your hands dirty with on-the-job experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a cool head under pressure
  • Comfortable with computer systems (emails, booking platform) and phone applications (social media, filming, and editing content)
  • Flexible availability between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday
