Dental Assistant Traineeship

About the role 

Partnering with a highly regarded Dental Practice based in Albury focused on 5-star care to their patients, Kestrel now has an exciting opportunity for a customer focused, friendly and professional individual looking to take that first step into the dental industry. 

Working a Monday to Friday roster, you will learn how to prepare for dental services, assist in procedures and provide administrative assistance while undertaking a Certificate III in Dental Assisting within a 12-month Traineeship.

This is a fantastic career-start opportunity to become qualified. As a Trainee Dental Assistant, you will receive both on and off the job training which will see you employed directly by Kestrel through to completion.

What you will be doing

• Booking appointments and reception duties
• Preparing and sterilising equipment
• Assisting dentists with various dental procedures
• Assisting with radiography
• Chair side assisting
• Stock control

What we are looking for

• Experience within a customer service environment
• Work placement within health or admin (highly desired)
• Confident in using computers and learning new systems
• Driver’s License and vehicle (highly desired)
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Able to commit to a 12-month traineeship
• Happy, bubbly personality
