The Opportunity

Kelly+Partners Private Wealth is seeking a driven Investment Director– Alternative Investments. This is a key role within our expanding wealth advisory business, ideal for someone passionate about building relationships and delivering alternative investment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow Funds under Management (FUM) for the Alternative Investment product suite
  • Identify new business opportunities in the alternative investments space, including private equity, real estate, and private credit.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and referral networks.
  • Collaborate with Partners and the marketing team to deliver targeted campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Present to small groups of investors on alternative investment opportunities
  • Present tailored investment proposals and materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Work with accounting partners and their clients to deliver wholesale investment opportunities to their clients
  • Monitor pipeline activity, deliver reporting, and contribute to strategic growth planning.
  • Represent Kelly+Partners at client events and networking forums.
  • Cross sell other business lines including insurance, finance, tax and accounting.

 About You

  • 8+ years’ experience in business development, wealth advisory, or financial services.
  • Solid understanding of alternative investment products and high-net-worth client needs.
  • Strong communication, presentation and relationship management skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or a related field (RG146 desirable).
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and thrives in a professional services environment.
  • Well presented and ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Comfortable with travel as required to attend client meetings, events, and Kelly+Partners offices across various regions.
