About the role:
Jemena/Zinfra has established an ‘asset management End-to-End’ transformation project within Jemena Networks (JN), Gas Markets (GM) and Jemena Network Services (JNS), with a key objective to build capabilities within the business to support the long-term sustainability and profitability of Jemena and Zinfra through how we manage of our existing assets.
Reporting to the Project Director, the Business Analyst will use their analytical skills, operational knowledge along with business improvement and system skills to support and drive project initiative requirements with SME’s and other key stakeholders.
This role will be a key enabler for ensuring successful initiative delivery and setting up a continuous improvement framework to drive sustainable outcomes for the business.
Our ideal candidate will have:
With a tertiary degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering or Finance you will also come with a strong understanding of SAP and Power BI.
You will have demonstrated experience in a large complex business (ideally in the energy/utilities sector) and have the ability to interact appropriately with a wide range of people spread across the office as well as field and engineering roles. This includes building relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating workshops and running meetings to develop requirements, opportunity ideation and issue resolution.
You will have a strong technical background with proven success in business improvement projects requiring major technical change, or IT system change, preferably in a manufacturing, asset management or field based service industry. Strong experience in documentation of business processes, model analysis in excel and presentation skills in PowerPoint is also essential.
Intermediate to advanced competence with asset or works management systems is essential as well as the ability to quickly learn specialist organisational software.
