Jemena is an Australian energy company who own and operate more than $11.5 Billion worth of gas and electricity transportation assets across Australia supplying millions of households and businesses with these essential services every day.
The Hiring Manager described this role as a great opportunity for someone coming back into the workforce after a break, or a marketing (or agency) all-rounder looking for an exciting contract role.
About the role:
The key responsibility of this position is to deliver marketing campaigns and related trade marketing activity focused on the ACT market where you will engage closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing, executing and maintaining a gas marketing campaign strategy and campaign plans, liaising with marketing colleagues, internal stakeholders, and agencies along the way.
- Measuring, evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of the marketing campaigns.
- Copy and content preparation/writing, regular internal campaign updates and reporting, as well as stakeholder presentations and ad hoc marketing project work.
- Some basic social media monitoring, and SEO/SEM coordination, will be required as part of the role working.
It is hoped you have fulfilled a similar role either currently or in the past with a relevant tertiary Degree or comparable industry experience.
You are required to understand your way around the Microsoft Office Suite as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams are used every day and necessary to the role.
You role is a standalone to a degree so you should feel comfortable working autonomously on a number of innovative campaigns including a Winter Gas campaign and various ad hoc trade campaigns.
Given your prior experience it is hoped you are confident working with a number of marketing Agencies and Graphic Designers to pull the vision together. Though we must highlight it is not a “pure” Marketing role.
Looking inwards we expect your “softer” skillset to boast a 'can do' attitude with a positive demeanour, strong decision making, a high level of adaptability coupled with a collaborative nature which shines through in your work.
Energy or Utility industry experience would be highly favourable.
