The Senior Marketing, Manager, Build to Rent is responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy for the build to rent (BTR) management business and for each of our BTR developments nationally. The role requires strong engagement and teamwork with all stakeholders to enable the effective delivery of marketing objectives, strong ROI and the ability to contribute positively to a high performing, collaborative team.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Indi Management Business & Brand

  • Develop and implement the internal and external marketing communications strategy that supports the positioning and value proposition of the ‘Indi’ brand and increases employee, customer and stakeholder engagement with the brand.  
  • Manage brand consistency across all touch points nationally. Develop and implement digital, video, content and social media strategies, optimise online marketing, SEO/SEM and the ‘Indi’ website.
  • Plan and implement public relations programs to enhance the external profile of the business.
  • Organise sponsorship and events and manage effective partnerships with creative, media, content, production, digital and PR agencies.
  • Participate in the development of broader marketing, leasing and customer experience initiatives

Development Projects

  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans for each ‘Indi’ development, including an always on consumer marketing plan that integrates traditional, search, digital and social media, with compelling advertising and content to optimise market awareness and new customer acquisition. 
  • Plan and direct public relations programs to enhance the profile of the projects and build awareness. 
  • Review and evaluate competitor marketing activity and changing consumer trends to incorporate learnings into campaign development and execution.
  • Prepare and manage annual marketing plans and budgets and track ROI
  • Work proactively and collaboratively with the marketing, occupant experience and leasing teams and other stakeholders, to ensure a fully integrated approach to the execution of the marketing plans.

What you will need to be successful: 

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or equivalent.
  • Postgraduate studies in marketing strategy, digital marketing or leadership, highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in developing large national brand strategies for business brands and real estate.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organised with a strong track record in delivering large, multi-channel marketing programs that successfully reach, acquire and nurture leads.
  • Proven ability to collaborate, engage and influence the team and stakeholders to deliver strong outcomes.
  • Experience in medium and high-density residential redevelopments is highly desirable.
