We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to ensure the effective, efficient, and safe operation of our assigned buildings. This role is crucial in providing a positive and comfortable experience for our tenants and visitors. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of building presentation and service, managing supplier and contractor services, and ensuring compliance with WHS&E requirements. This role is a 12 month max term contract.

Your key responsibilities:
•    Build and manage relationships with tenantsto ensure customer-focused FM services 
•    Manage service providers and contractors to implement approved works according to established service level agreements
•    Ensure the delivery of sustainability outcomes, including WHS&E 5-star accreditation, and energy, water, and waste minimisation
•    Ensure the ongoing efficient operation of all building control systems and assist the Senior Facilities Manager
•    Manage and implement supplier services effectively and efficiently 
•    Manage the building(s) in accordance with the approved Strategic Asset Plan
•    Manage an appropriate emergency and evacuation program and ensure that all emergency equipment is maintained 
•    Ensure all contractors working on assigned building(s) and surrounding sites comply with building safety regulations and requirements
•    Provide input to the CAPEX and OPEX budgeting process for assigned building(s) as required 
•    Coordinate and manage the execution of FM CAPEX and FM Projects works in a timely manner and to project standard
•    Assist in the review and delivery of all works relating to ‘tenant fit outs’ in accordance with approved plans and statutory requirements
•    Ensure availability by phone on a 24/7 basis including maintaining escalation contacts 
•    Complete monthly reports as required

What you bring:
•    Proven experience within facilities management 
•    Working knowledge of commercial building operations and the different types of maintenance 
•    Knowledge of the effective utilisation of energy, water and waste
•    Working knowledge of WHS policies and practices prevalent in a ‘safety culture’
•    Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
•    Good written and verbal communication
•    Trade certificate or Engineering degree qualifications preferred 
•    Strong customer focus – service orientated
•    Competent computer skills
