Exciting times - we are seeking another Application Custodian to join our already amazing team.
Reporting to our Business Systems Manager, the Application Custodian will be responsible for overseeing all company-used applications with a strong focus on our clinical systems - research, procure, install, configure, monitor, and maintain software applications. Ensure applications are functional, secure, and meet organisational needs. This role ensures the effective management of security groups, permissions, and documentation of our clinical applications. The Application Custodian will also develop documentation and user guides, provide training to the ICT team for level 1 support, and offer end-user training to promote user adoption. Additionally, they will manage cybersecurity related to applications, ensuring best practices are met, and assist with application interoperability.
This role is full time and remote or hybrid opportunities may be available for the right candidate.
The key responsibilities for this role are, but not limited to:
- Oversee the management of security groups and permissions for all applications to ensure secure and efficient access control.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all applications, including user guides and technical manuals.
- Provide training to the IT team for level 1 support and offer end-user training to promote user adoption and effective use of applications.
- Manage cybersecurity aspects related to applications, ensuring that all security protocols and best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to resolve complex technical issues, share knowledge, and implement IT projects and improvements.
- Identify recurring issues and propose solutions to prevent future incidents. Contribute to the improvement of IT processes and procedures to enhance overall service delivery.
- Provide remote assistance to off-site or remote users, ensuring consistent and efficient support regardless of the user's location.
About You:

- Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.

- Qualifications: A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: with Telstra Health Care Manager (previously called iCare), BestMed and CarePage are desirable.
- You have: Proven experience in application management and cyber security within a clinical environment, ideally aged care and demonstrated experience with vendor engagement and service delivery.
