The opportunity:
As a Site Supervisor of defects at Hindmarsh, you will partner with the NSW Quality and Maintenance Manager to manage defects across a variety of sectors and locations, including Industrial (Western Sydney), Data Centres (Western Sydney), Education (various locations), Aged Care & Health, and Residential (various locations).
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate on site construction activity including sub-contractors, labour, and delivery of materials
- Oversee the standard and progress of subcontractors' work
- Liaise with subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Participate in the development of and the management of the project in accordance with the specific Project Management Plan
- Obtain a thorough understanding of the scope associated with the contract documentation
- Ensure adherence to SQE policies and compliance with the Hindmarsh Management Systems
- Ensure that site issues and subcontractors are managed in accordance with the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry
To be considered, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in remedial works, repairs, and make safe works
- Trade background preferred
- Good decision making capabilities
- Experience running a small project yourself
- Working at heights (or willingness to obtain)
